2021 Aspen Cyber Summit to Feature Key Leaders from CISA, DoJ, NSA, the White House, Security Industry, Nonprofit Sector, and More, September 29 and October 6

Washington, DC, September 16, 2021 The Aspen Cyber Summit is returning for its sixth year to convene top innovators and leaders from government, business, academia, and civil society on the theme of systemic cyber risk. The Aspen Digital program today confirmed the speaker lineup for the event, which will take place on Wednesday, September 29, as a virtual convening with a limited in-person component and on Wednesday, October 6, entirely virtually, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. ET both days.

This nonpartisan, high-level setting provides one of the most significant stages for discussions on cybersecurity policy, strategy, and operations. Media are encouraged to register in advance here.

Speakers on September 29 will include: the Department of Justice’s Deputy Attorney General, Lisa Monaco; FBI Deputy Director Paul Abbate; Red Balloon Security CEO Ang Cui; Cyber Threat Alliance CEO Michael Daniel; Comcast CISO Noopur Davis; Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) Director Jen Easterly; Mastercard CSO Ron Green; Columbia University Senior Research Scholar Jay Healey; PwC Global Cyber and Privacy Leader Sean Joyce; the National Security Agency’s Director of Cybersecurity Directorate, Rob Joyce; Veracode CEO Sam King; Former CISA Director and Aspen Digital Senior Fellow Chris Krebs; Forescout CEO Wael Mohamed; Amazon Web Services CISO Stephen Schmidt; and RAND Corporation Researcher Jonathan Welburn, among others.

The lineup for October 6 will feature: the country’s first-ever National Cyber Director, Chris Inglis; Senator Angus King (I-ME); the U.S. Department of Energy’s Deputy Secretary, David Turk; American Public Power Association CEO Joy Ditto; AIG’s Global Head of Cyber Risk Insurance, Tracie Grella; Rep.
