The Aspen Institute Presents Best-Selling Author Marianne Williamson

Aspen, CO, February 12, 2014 ––After a sell-out event with Deepak Chopra, the Aspen Institute announces its second event in The Murdock Mind, Body, Spirit Series, which will feature Marianne Williamson. This event is open to the public and will take place on March 5, 2014 from 5:30-6:30pm in Paepcke Auditorium on the Aspen Institute’s Aspen Meadows Campus. The Murdock Mind, Body, Spirit Series is generously underwritten by Gina and Jerry Murdock.

Marianne Williamson is an internationally acclaimed spiritual author and lecturer. Her newest book, A Year of Miracles was released in December 2013. Six of her ten published books have been New York Times bestsellers. Her other books include A Return to Love, The Age of Miracles, Everyday Grace, A Woman’s Worth, Illuminata, Healing the Soul of America, A Course in Weight Loss, The Gift of Change, and The Law of Divine Compensation. She has been a popular guest on television programs such as “Oprah,” “Larry King Live,” “Good Morning America,” and “Charlie Rose.” She founded Project Angel Food, a meals-on-wheels program that serves people with AIDS in the Los Angeles area as well as the Department of Peace Campaign, a grassroots campaign to establish a US Department of Peace. In 2006, Newsweek magazine named Marianne Williamson one of the 50 most influential baby boomers. Williamson is currently a candidate for the US House of Representatives from California’s 33rd District.
