ANNOUNCE JOINT ROUNDTABLE SERIES ON CIVILITY
Participants will discuss solutions about how to make government work better
Washington, DC, April 13, 2011 – The Bipartisan Policy Center (BPC) and The Aspen Institute announced today that they will host a new four-part series, Conversations on Civility: Making Our Democracy Work. The first event in the roundtable series will take place on April 20, 2011, at the Aspen Institute in Washington, DC.
The BPC and the Aspen Institute created this series to discuss how to improve our democracy and civic health. The joint series will examine the breakdown of our nation’s civil discourse and how this trend is affecting future political leaders. Each roundtable discussion will identify opportunities for educators, business leaders and policymakers to forge a more robust, active and politically engaged citizenry.
