Aspen, CO, June 22, 2018 – The Aspen Ideas Festival runs from Sunday June 24­—Saturday, June 30. Hundreds of the world’s most prominent thought leaders across business, politics, media, culture, science, and more are gathering to dissect the most pressing issues of our time.

This year, tracks will address a broad range of topics including freedom of speech, the sexes, leadership in a time of change, the state of American democracy, globalization, the meaning of music, the relationship between humans and technology, the genius of animals, and more. More than 400 presenters are participating in the festival. Featured speakers include Former FBI Director James Comey, Patagonia CEO Rose Marcario, Hip-Hop star Kiari “Offset” Cephus, founder and chairwoman of Eileen Fisher Inc. Eileen Fisher, FEMA Administrator Brock Long, former US Secretary of State John Kerry, Assistant Attorney General Makan Delrahim, #MeToo founder Tarana Burke, architect Frank Gehry, Puerto Rico Governor Ricardo Rosselló, Walmart President and CEO Doug McMillon, NSA Chief Security Officer Anne Neuberger, and Reddit CEO Steve Huffman.

  • June 25 at 9:10am MT: Raj Chetty and Gillian White discuss big data and the American Dream.
  • June 25 at 12:00pm MT: Atul Gawande and Judy Woodruff ask whether health care should be considered a human right.
  • June 25 at 1:20pm MT: Ai-jen Poo, Alex Wagner, Rebecca Traister, Tarana Burke, Sara Gelser, and Kim Parker take an in-depth look at the #MeToo movement.
  • June 27 at 11:40am MT: The editor of the Washington Post, Martin Baron, speaks with CNN journalist Brian Stelter.
  • June 27 at 3pm MT: Former US Secretary of State John Kerry speaks with NBC News Chief Foreign Affairs Correspondent Andrea Mitchell.
  • June 30 at 9:10am MT: Former FBI Director James Comey will be interviewed by journalist Katie Couric.
  • June 30 at 2:00pm MT: Conversations with change makers, with Dan Porterfield, Gaby Pacheco, Khalid Latif, Michel Nischan, D’Angelo McDade, Trevon Bosley, and Arieyanna Williams.
