Alexa Enríquez is the Program Coordinator for the Latinos & Society Program at the Aspen Institute (AILAS). As the Program Coordinator, Alexa spearheads the coordination of all AILAS program activities and events, manages social media accounts, carries out finance and accounting administrative tasks, and provides general support for the team.
Prior to joining the Latinos & Society Program, Alexa interned with the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund, the Obama Foundation, and the U.S. Department of the Treasury. She is passionate about protecting immigrant rights, advancing the pipeline of American Latinos receiving higher education, and economic mobility and advancement for American Latinos in the U.S.
Alexa received a B.A. in Public Policy from Brown University. She originally hails from Phoenix, Arizona, and she is a proud first-generation Mexican-American.
