Amanda is a Program Associate with Public Programs, working mainly on the Aspen Ideas Festival. Originally from California, Amanda came to Aspen as an intern after graduating from Middlebury College with a B.A. in History and a minor in Economics. Her main role consists of speaker management for the Festival, but has also expanded to special projects such as oversight of a Virtual Reality Exhibit, coordination of the Festival workshops, and, her favorite, managing the free snack tent at the Festival. She is passionate about education, social innovation, and youth empowerment. In her spare time, Amanda enjoys watching basketball, mountain biking, and searching for the nearest taco joint.
