André Gonzales is the Program Assistant for Weave: The Social Fabric Project, where his work supports Weavers as they lead a collective revolution of kindness, compassion, and empathy. Prior to joining The Aspen Institute, André helped cover education and tribal affairs policy as a staffer for the United States Senate. In 2018, he also assisted in producing local, regional, and national news coverage for iHeartRadio and its affiliates across the United States. Originally from Las Cruces, New Mexico, André holds a B.A. in Political Communication from the School of Media and Public Affairs at The George Washington University.
