Andres Mejorado (El Paso, Texas) was born in El Paso, but raised in Juárez, is an undergraduate marketing major and has played a central role in the work of the institute. Under supervision, but singlehandedly, he created the three site selector database mechanisms, doing the research into their internationally accepted standards and then incorporating all of our regional data into the established categories. In addition to working closely with the drafting and revision of all our graphs and tables, Andres has exercised significant leadership in guiding new graduate and undergraduate students in the research and professional methods of the Institute. He has demonstrated a sincere and earnest desire to build bridges between the US and Mexico. Andres plans to take his experiences from UTEP to law school so that he can find and create new ways for businesses to work together more closely and seamlessly along US Mexico border. Participated in Aspen Institute Latinos and Society Program America’s Future Summit.
