Angelica Heron was born in Bronx, NY and raised in Stamford, CT. She has a bachelor’s degree in Social Work with a minor in Sociology from Southern CT State University as well as a Youth Development Specialist Certification from the City of Hartford. Angelica has been working in the youth development field for 13 years and in the workforce field for 4 years. Currently she is the Opportunity Youth Coordinator at Capital Workforce Partners the Workforce Development Board for North Central Connecticut. Angelica’s passion for serving youth motivates her to advocate for the needs of the communities she serves and promotes systems change.

Angelica Heron is a member of the Hartford Workforce Leaders Academy, Class of 2017-18, one of several Workforce Leadership Academies in localities across North America.
