Anna Giorgi is Assistant Director for Climate and Environment with the Aspen Institute Energy and Environment Program. In this role, Anna leads policy and research development, facilitates convenings of experts, and works on both domestic and international climate and environmental policy strategy roundtables. She has led efforts working with Interpol on environmental crime, the African Wildlife Foundation on conservation of mammals in Africa, and Stanford University on artificial intelligence in energy and environment. Prior to joining the Energy and Environment Program, Anna served as a Brent Scowcroft Fellow for the Aspen Strategy Group, a membership group of foreign affairs experts, where she worked on the U.S.-India Strategic Dialogue, the Aspen Ministers Forum, and the Strategy Group Summer Workshop. Anna also served in an Advocacy role at the International Crisis Group, where she assisted the Middle East and North Africa Program and with the program’s department of the Chicago Council on Global Affairs. Anna is a graduate of Brown University where she earned her B.A. in International Relations and Italian Studies. While an undergraduate, she spent her junior year studying at the University of Bologna, Italy. She is originally from Chicago, Illinois.
