Business Development Director, Morrison Technologies LLC, Bayonne, New Jersey

Anna Lukasiak is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP, PMI-ACP) working with clients like Reddit and Audible, helping them implement structures for their technology projects. She is also an entrepreneur: Partner and Business Development Director at an IT services company, Morrison Technologies, and an owner of data analytics and project management consulting practice, Data Gallery. Anna was fortunate to start her career as an application developer at Goldman Sachs in the late nineties, when the fintech industry was at its infancy, after receiving bachelors and masters degrees in Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. While at Goldman, she managed technology teams for the Derivatives Trading and Emerging Markets Desks, and the Global Price Verification Group. After a successful corporate career on Wall Street where she spent 16 years, Anna began exploring the startup and entrepreneurship scenes. In 2013, she started Data Gallery, which explored data visualization for business decisions, and OpenJC, a non-profit to help the local government bridge the technology gap. In 2015, she helped to grow Open Data Science to become the largest global community of data scientists in her role as a Business Development Director. In 2016, she joined Morrison Technologies to help explore tech opportunities in Cali, Colombia. It’s at Morrison Technologies, where she actively began to experiment with the use of technology for economic empowerment and digital inclusion. Anna started Summer Technology Entrepreneurship Program (STEP) for urban high school students in Jersey City and Newark, and is currently working on a Registered Apprenticeship Program through the Department of Labor for women in technology project management, targeting graduating high school students, experienced women in transition through the unemployment office, and veterans. This will be the first program of this kind in the state of NJ. Anna is a member of Project Management Institute (PMI), Scrum Alliance, and the Total network. Anna lives in Jersey City with her two daughters, Eva and Renata. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, reading and great coffee.
