As social media manager, Arica Van Boxtel develops and manages the Institute’s content across social platforms and supports a variety of communication efforts, including events and media relations. She was previously the Senior Associate for Public Affairs & Social Media assisting both public relations and digital efforts. Before joining the Aspen Institute, Arica worked at the Education Advisory Board assisting marketing efforts for a team focused on using technology, data, and research to identify drivers of student attrition and improve student success in higher education. Prior to working at EAB, Arica managed social media and supported digital strategy, design, and video efforts for the NRSC during the 2014 election cycle. Arica formerly served as a communications consultant for a healthcare start-up. She is a graduate of Marquette University with a BA in communications and minors in Spanish and business.
