Aroob Ahmad is a freshman at Hobart and William Smith Colleges. She’s a graduate of St. Vincent Academy in Newark, NJ and has taken part in many activities both inside and outside of school. Aroob is a member of the Newark Museum Explorers Program and has also had the opportunity to complete an internship at the Essex County Prosecutors Office. Aroob is also part of Stand and Deliver, a club where students can develop public speaking skills. Aroob found her passion for advocacy when she joined the Girl Up club which is a club started by the UN for advocating girls’ rights. Aroob plans to start in a career in law enforcement after she completes her studies.
