Brian Bartle grew up on a third-generation family farm in Sanilac County, Michigan, where his initial interest in agriculture and food emerged. He continued to immerse himself in agriculture, both domestically and internationally, during his time in Senegal with the Peace Corps and then at the US Department of Agriculture in Washington, DC. Currently, Brian works for Indigo Ag, where he has been helping lead its efforts to develop an agriculture-based carbon credit program for the past four years. He resides in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and holds an M.S. degree in agriculture, food, and resource economics from Michigan State University. Follow Brian and his work on LinkedIn.
