Brita L. Stevenson is Associate Director of Programming for the Health, Medicine & Society Program (HMS) at the Aspen Institute. She is responsible for the development and execution of Aspen Ideas Festival Spotlight Health, the premier creative health forum in the world. Prior to transitioning to HMS, Brita was Program Manager for the Aspen Ideas Festival, where she created content and managed the Festival speaker recruitment process. Her first position at the Aspen Institute was with the Council of Women World Leaders, the only international organization representing current and former women heads of state and government. She has lived on three continents and speaks fluent French. She has a Master’s Degree in International Relations from Sciences Po in Paris, and two cum laude degrees from the Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies at the University of Washington.
