Caitlyn Pisarski believes education is society’s most powerful tool and accessing it creates nothing short of magic. Caitlyn has been the manager of the Southwest Economic Solutions (SWES) Adult Learning Labs since 2017. The SWES Labs provide high school equivalency preparation and English language classes to adult learners so they may achieve greater economic security and success. Caitlyn coaches her staff in a program delivery approach grounded in person-centered and trauma-informed methods. She received her B.S.W. and B.A. in History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her M.S.W. from the University of Michigan, specializing in community and social systems with a minor in the management of human services. Caitlyn lives in Detroit, teaches soapmaking classes with Motor City Soap Company to clean chemistry enthusiasts and enjoys exploring the woods of Northern Michigan.

Caitlyn Pisarski is a member of the Detroit Workforce Leadership Academy Class of 2020, one of several Workforce Leadership Academies in localities across North America.
