Cara Minardi is the project manager for the Aspen Challenge. Her primary responsibilities for the program are to assist in cultivating talent, to support the student teams and their project work, and to produce the events in each city. Before joining the Youth and Engagement Division and the Aspen Challenge team in November 2015, Cara worked for the Conference Services department at the Aspen Institute. She managed in the planning and coordination of a variety of public and policy program events on the Aspen Campus and in cities around the world. Cara’s love for the outdoors and new adventures is what drove her decision to move to Aspen in 2009. She is an avid skier, hiker, hot yoga enthusiast, and enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, family, and friends.
Prior to moving to Aspen, Cara was as a legal assistant for Ellenoff Grossman and Schole in New York. She graduated from Muhlenberg College with a major in International Studies, a concentration in Peace and Conflict Studies, and a minor in Spanish.
