Danielle Hayes works with the Future of Work Initiative to analyze and develop economic policy. She currently serves as VP of Federal Public Affairs for McGuireWoods Consulting.
Danielle joined McGuireWoods Consulting in November 2013 as a vice president of Federal Public Affairs. She assists clients with a wide variety of government relations issues and public affairs strategies, drawing on a potent mix of experience in law, policy, journalism, marketing and public relations.
Danielle most recently worked for Bloomberg BNA as a legal editor, covering the Supreme Court and significant decisions in the federal appellate courts from an attorney’s perspective. Prior to that, she gained substantial Capitol Hill experience in tax policy, healthcare, and budget deficit issues as a junior counsel on the U.S. Senate Finance Committee working for current MWC Senior Advisor and former Finance Committee Majority Staff Director Russ Sullivan.
Before attending law school, she worked as a news reporter, producer and anchor for the NBC affiliate in Western Montana.
Danielle is a member of the State Bar of Montana.
