Douglas Belkin covers higher education for The Wall Street Journal where he focuses on the link between education and the economy. He joined The Journal in 2007 and has been both a national and foreign correspondent. The Journal has twice nominated projects, of which he has been a part, for the Pulitzer Prize. He lives in Chicago.
