Senior Advisor, Food is Medicine

Emma Clippinger serves as senior advisor to the Food and Society program’s Food is Medicine Initiative. Emma has dedicated her career to the intersection of food, nutrition, and health, both as a public policy attorney and a non-profit leader. As a fellow at Harvard Law School’s Food Law and Policy Clinic., she worked on federal, state, and local policy efforts to increase access to healthy foods. Emma co-founded and directed Gardens for Health, a pioneer in community-based, nutrition-sensitive agriculture. Emma received her B.A. from Brown University and her J.D. from NYU Law School, where she was a Root-Tilden-Kern Public Interest Scholar.
