Evelyn Ochoa Arias is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She works as a teaching assistant for an introduction to engineering design class. In high school, Evelyn worked with the TRIO program, which led her to become a STEM education advocate, exposing students to STEM through workshops. Evelyn Ochoa Arias is an Aspen Young Leaders Fellow in the 2020-2021 Chicago cohort.
