Jacqueline Jodl oversees the strategic planning, financial management, and operations for the National Commission on Social, Emotional, and Academic Development. Her early career began at Unilever PLC in marketing management where she led both established brands and new product innovation. After several years in the consumer products industry, Dr. Jodl transitioned to a consulting role, advising clients on a range of marketing, strategic and operating challenges. Most recently, she served as an analyst at the National Governors Association supporting work on education technology, postsecondary education, and the connection between education and workforce development. In 2016 Dr. Jodl was selected as a Presidential Management Fellow, a highly prestigious leadership program for advanced degree professionals in public policy. Jodl earned her MBA from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago; a master’s degree in politics and education from Teachers College and a doctorate in education policy and social analysis from Columbia University.
