James Owens

James Owens was a research intern for the Aspen Institute Economic Opportunities Program. He conducted research on strategies that assist Americans gain economic opportunity in today’s labor market. He contributed to the Workforce Strategy Initiative by planning site visits and interviews, and records relevant data. Before joining the Institute, James was an intern at JET Education Services, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving education policy in South Africa. James holds a Bachelor’s degree in political science from Emory University, and is in school to receive his Master of Public Policy degree from American University.
