Jamie is Vice President and Director of Public Programs. She joined the Institute in 2003 as the founding editor of The Aspen Idea magazine, the magazine of the Aspen Institute. She served as Editor in Chief for four years. She currently leads a variety of the Institute’s major public offerings, including CityLab, the Summit on Inequality and Opportunity, the White House Summit on the United State of Women, and other programming in Washington, DC, New York City, and elsewhere. She has played a key role in planning the Aspen Ideas Festival since its inception in 2005. Prior to joining the Institute, Jamie worked as a magazine editor in Colorado. A native of Washington, DC, she is a graduate of Cornell University.
