John P. Hogan is Program Manager for the Aspen Security Forum, one of the Aspen Institute’s fastest-growing major public events. His portfolio previously included the Aspen Institute Homeland Security Group, where he was responsible for managing bi-partisan, off-the-record meetings between Secretaries of Homeland Security, their senior leadership team, and a group of 40 subject matter experts to discuss DHS’ most pressing long-term priorities.

A native of Brunswick, Maine, John received his bachelor’s degree from Goucher College, where he studied the aftereffects of colonialism and growing pains of globalization on developed and developing nations as part of the school’s International Scholars Program.
