J’Tyia Thomas is a student at the University of Central Arkansas studying health science. She transferred in 2019 after playing basketball for a season at Arkansas Tech University where she was a scholar-athlete. J’Tyia has volunteered at the Center Valley Elementary School and the Adopt a Mile Highway 84 Clean Up and is the president of her sorority. She hopes to further her leadership and work to improve her hometown of Clarendon, Arkansas. J’Tyia Thomas is an Aspen Young Leaders Fellow in the 2020-2021 Delta cohort.
