Katherine Buchanan is the Programs Associate of the Society of Fellows at the Aspen Institute.
In this role, Katherine manages relationship tracking, stewardship, and annual appeals for philanthropic partners to the Aspen Institute, specifically focusing on members of the Society of Fellows and Arts Circle. She also serves as the logistics lead on Society of Fellows programming in New York and Washington, DC, as well as various special events for the Board of Trustees and valued intellectual and philanthropic partners of the Aspen Institute. Driven by a firm belief in the power of values-based leadership to solve the complex issues that challenge society today, Katherine is energized to further the impact of an organization instrumental in empowering leaders to affect positive change around the globe. Katherine is a graduate of Wofford College where she studied French and Religion, focusing on religious organizations’ impact on peacemaking in active conflict zones. When not in the office or traveling for an Aspen Institute event, she enjoys exploring hidden treasures in the District via Capital Bikeshare and singing in the St. Mark’s Episcopal Church choir on Capitol Hill.
