Katie Cassetta is a Program Manager with the Public Programs division of the Aspen Institute, overseeing content and logistics for events like the Aspen Ideas Festival and Ideas Abu Dhabi. She is also the co-founder of CASD USA, a non-profit focused on women’s empowerment and water systems in rural areas of Nepal. Originally from Westport, Connecticut, Katie holds a degree in International Affairs from the Korbel School at the University of Denver. Prior to her work with the Aspen Institute, she was a wrangler on a cattle ranch in Wyoming. She spends much of her time climbing, skiing, and riding horses in the Elk Mountains that surround the Aspen campus.
