Laly Rivera is a Presidential Appointee at the Export-Import Bank of the United States.

Laly Rivera is a Presidential Appointee at the Export-Import Bank of the United States. Rivera has over thirteen years of experience in government affairs and politics, where she has worked in a variety of capacities, including on Capitol Hill, a government affairs boutique firm, and currently, at a national campaign committee. Laly began her career as the Grants & Government Contracts Coordinator for Congressman Henry Cuellar where she organized small business conferences, coordinated grant announcements, tracked legislation, and served as the Congressional Hispanic Caucus International Taskforce Liaison. During her time at the government affairs firm, she managed contracts, assisted clients in the telecommunications sphere, supervised full time staff and interns, organized intimate fundraising dinners and receptions for Latino federal, state, and local office candidates. Prior to her current role, Laly worked at the Democratic Attorneys General Association (DAGA), where she managed policy conferences for the Democratic Attorneys General, supported all activities of the DAGA’s Executive Director, and managed relationships with Latino organizations and Congressional Caucuses. In addition, she participated in “Get Out the Vote” (GOTV) efforts in Louisville, Kentucky, for the Democratic gubernatorial campaign of Andy Beshear. Laly is a proud alumna of University of Texas at El Paso and aspires to get a master’s degree in Public Services and return to Texas to run for office.
