Lia, originally from Los Angeles, CA, moved to Washington D.C. with the goal of aiding the world in becoming an equal and just place for all people. She studied philosophy and theater at The George Washington University and found her niche in supporting mission driven organizations through developing and streamlining systems and processes.
Lia is honored to support CNAY and its mission in her role as operations manager; where she manages the budget, grants and operational processes. Prior to working with CNAY, Lia provided administrative, strategic planning and operational support to organizations such as the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Lia was moved to work with CNAY due to its unwavering commitment to youth leadership. She highly values CNAY’s multi-pronged strategy of empowering young people of color to be engaged in the growth and health of themselves as individuals and their communities.
