Linda Gabel works at the Gesellschaft Internationaler Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) as a political adviser to the Federal German ministry for economic cooperation and development (BMZ). As part of the Department for Digital Development, Linda’s work focuses on the impact of digitisation on the Global South. Her key topics are Artificial Intelligence, the Future of Work, the use of Big Data in the context of development cooperation and Internet Governance on a multilateral level.
Prior to that, Linda worked in the private IT-sector at the SAP Innovation Center in Potsdam. Linda holds a master’s degree in political economy from King’s College in London and a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of the Arts (UdK) in Berlin.
