Mareike Oldemeinen is a Program Officer in Aspen Germany’s Digital Program. She was born in Lower Saxony, but spent many years of her life in Scotland. There, she obtained her Master’s in International Relations at the University of St. Andrews, focusing on U.S. foreign- and defense-policy and terrorism studies. Afterwards, Mareike worked for Deutsche Bank AG in Corporate Finance as a Relationship Manager (Assistant Vice President). In this role, she gained extensive experience in the coverage of international corporates.
In order to further build and strengthen her transatlantic profile, Mareike most recently pursued a second Master’s degree in transatlantic studies at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and Humboldt-University Berlin, from which she graduated in September 2018. In January 2019, she will move to Frankfurt to join the strategic communications practice of Hering Schuppener.
