Maria Recio (Washington, DC) is an Arts & Culture National Correspondent. She covers all aspects of culture and the arts for the McClatchy chain of 29 newspapers and the MCT wire. In addition, she cover politics for the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. Between 2006 – 2012, Maria was a Correspondent for McClatchy Newspapers in the Washington, D.C. bureau and in Fort Worth Star-Telegram/ Biloxi Sun Herald – covering Congress and official Washington for the local audience.
