Marklyn is the Senior Operations Associate of the Inclusive America Project at the Aspen Institute. In this role, she works under the direction of the Associate Director to provide centralized operations, program support and administrative management for the IAP team.
Marklyn has an extensive background in advocacy, electoral campaign development, project management, and operations and logistic coordination. Prior to joining the Inclusive America Project in October 2021, she served as the Director of Operations & Scheduling for the John King for Governor campaign. Before that, she spent 5 years in various roles, including the National Organizing Manager, with Planned Parenthood Federation of America and associated affiliates. She began her career in the non-profit and political sectors after graduating with a B.A. in Political Science from Rutgers University-Camden, New Jersey in May 2013.
When she’s not organizing a task, you can find this proud first-generation Haitian American uncovering new restaurants in the DC area, booking an undeniable flight deal to the Caribbean or cooking 3 course meals for her partner.
