Martrice strives for excellence and promotes tranquility and communion within her community. On top of five other clubs, Martrice is the Student Council President of her school, planning school-wide events engineered toward shifting the student body to a more positive state of mind. She is also a student in the UMSL Bridge Saturday Academy, studying extra material in her core subjects and preparing for college. Martrice has worked with Inroads and Monsanto in the INROADS Summer Agriculture Institute, gaining hands-on experience in the Agriculture industry. Inspired by her experiences in the Saint Louis area, Martrice had decided to develop a non profit called The Ubuntu Organization, in hopes of providing society, with emphasis on the lower class, with better ways to sustain and create resources. She plans to take her activities to Colorado College, where she will be studying Neuroscience and Anthropology. When Martrice is not indulged in her work, she is spending time with her large family. Martrice can also, be found writing poetry, reading intellectual books, or creating art.
