Megan Bentzin serves as the Society of Fellow’s (SOF) Stewardship and Cultivation Associate in the Office of Institutional Advancement. Megan provides lead oversight of SOF fundraising strategies and supports the SOF team and leadership in building relationships with current and prospective members. She graduated from the University of Virginia in 2014 with a degree in Foreign Affairs and then spent a year abroad working for the International New Town Institute in South Africa and The Netherlands before moving to Aspen, Colorado. Megan is engaged with the Aspen community by serving on the board of Response, the City of Aspen board of Adjustments, and the Leadership Development board of the Buddy Program. Megan volunteers as a crisis hotline responder, a big buddy mentor, and a storytelling coach for English in Action. When not in the office or volunteering, you can find Megan exploring the Rockies on foot, bike, and ski, competing across the state in ski mountaineering, trail running, and mountain bilking.
