Megan Bentzin is the East Regional Director of the Society of Fellows at the Aspen Institute.
In this role, she oversees SOF membership and engagement on the East Coast. Megan joined the Society of Fellows team in 2016 in the Aspen, CO office. She has been involved in the Aspen community in a variety of ways, including her service on two nonprofit boards and the City of Aspen’s Board of Adjustments, as well as volunteering as a crisis hotline responder, a big buddy mentor, and a storytelling coach for English in Action. Born and raised in Austin, Texas, Megan is a University of Virginia graduate where she majored in Foreign Affairs. Prior to joining the Aspen Institute, Megan worked for the International New Town Institute in South Africa and The Netherlands. When not in the office, Megan is usually exploring the outdoors on foot, ski, and bike.
