Nisveta Fejzic is a Bosnian American storyteller. Nisveta frequents the Poetic Justice Open Mic because she treasures the power behind words and community. A commitment to compassion and sustainability drives her. Born in Mönchengladbach, Germany and raised in the Bevo-Mill neighborhood of St. Louis, Nisveta is passionate about education, transportation, and acceptance. Nisveta is currently an intern with STL Youth Jobs. This civic collaboration provides meaningful employment opportunities for at-risk youth. STL Youth Jobs bridges the divide between the region’s youth and the growing skills gap in its workforce. After completing a B.A. in Public Relations, Nisveta plans to live, work, and play in St. Louis.
