When Pablo Emiliano Aranda-Leon is not studying accounting at DePaul University, he works for Healthy Hood, a church-based organization that fights for undocumented and documented peoples’ rights. The organization’s goal is to give 12 million undocumented essential workers work permits and a path toward citizenship through H.R.8585, the American right to family bill. Pablo Aranda is an Aspen Young Leaders Fellow in the 2020-2021 Chicago cohort.
