Paul Ferrari is the Senior Communications Manager for the Education & Society Program at the Aspen Institute. In this role, he leads strategic communications efforts and elevates the stories of the Education & Society Program’s work and how it impacts practitioners and policymakers.
Prior to the Aspen Institute, Paul worked at the Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO), where he spent over a decade leading strategy, programs, communications, and advocacy efforts related to K-12 education policy. During his time at CCSSO, Paul led CCSSO’s portfolio of work to ensure that every student has access to great teachers, and as part of that work oversaw the redesign of the nation’s oldest and most prestigious educator recognition program: The National Teacher of the Year Program. Paul also led CCSSO’s national and state strategy to communicate about the value of college and career ready standards and next generation assessments. Paul began his career in professional theatres as an actor, company manager, and marketer.
