Rachel Wheeler joined the Business & Society Program in March 2019. As the Senior Events & Communications Associate, she supports the planning and production of all the Program’s events—including the First Movers Fellowship Program, the Aspen Leaders Forum, and the Aspen ESG Summit. She also supports the Communications Manager in the design and execution of all comms outputs.
Rachel comes to the Aspen Institute after a year in rural Patagonia, teaching English to middle-schoolers. Prior to that, she worked as an event planner at the nonprofit Help For Children, where she planned fundraising events within the finance community to fight child abuse. She graduated from the NYU Stern School of Business with a B.S. in Management & Organizations and Global Business, and a minor in Social Entrepreneurship.
In her free time, she loves to bake, run, and puzzle.
