Roberto Villaseñor is attending the Illinois Institute of Technology and pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and Management with a minor in Finance. He has been active in the Latinx community of Chicago with Fiesta del Sol and the local organization VAMOS. Roberto is passionate about technology usage to help underserved communities that typically lack technological infrastructure, education, and access. He has been active in the Latinx community of Chicago through several organizations since his teenage years. Roberto said “I hope to utilize this Aspen Fellowship experience to continue to teach and supplement the local community. Essentially, I want to support and nurture our leaders.” Selected as a 2021 Aspen Young Leaders Fellow-Chicago.
