Safa Azad is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Illinois Institute of Technology and hopes one day to receive master’s degree as well. In her free time, Safa coaches a Georgia high school robotics team, improving the documentation and interviewing skills that will help them in the long run. She hopes to use her education and newfound skills to create sustainable technology that can help progress us as a society. Safa Azad is an Aspen Young Leaders Fellow in the 2020-2021 Chicago cohort.
