Seth A. Berkowitz

Seth Berkowitz (MD, MPH) is a general internist with training in health services research and in conducting and evaluating interventions. His research expertise focuses on understanding the relationship between food insecurity and health outcomes, along with studying interventions to help individuals overcome this barrier to health equity, particularly in the context of diabetes and obesity. Dr. Berkowitz trained clinically in the University of California, San Francisco Primary Care Internal Medicine residency, and earned a Master of Public Health degree from the Harvard School of Public Health while a fellow in the Harvard Combined Fellowship in General Internal Medicine and Primary Care. He is a practicing primary care physician.
