Sola Farquhar

Sola joined the Institute in 2017 as a Summer Staff member for the Aspen Ideas Festival’s opening three-day science and medicine conference, Spotlight Health. After graduating from Middlebury College in 2017 with a degree in History and Global Health, she moved to Aspen. Now in Washington, Sola serves as the Health, Medicine, and Society Program Associate. Her main roles include developing global and domestic health content, researching cutting edge science and health tech topics, and managing external partnerships. Prior to joining the Institute, Sola held internships at the Institute for Sustainable Communities, myStrength Inc., and Legacies of War. In her free time she loves to hike, ski, bake, and read historical fiction.
