Soledad Roybal has dedicated her career to helping people fulfill their potential regardless of socioeconomic background, gender, ethnicity or orientation.

Soledad Roybal has dedicated her career to helping people fulfill their potential regardless of socioeconomic background, gender, ethnicity or orientation. She is a technology equality advocate who has just started the Latino Tech Policy Initiative, a grassroots organization dedicated to educating and engaging Latinos on technology policy matters. During President Obama’s Administration Soledad served at the U.S. Department of State first as the White House Liaison then as a Senior Policy Advisor on international technology policy. She has also led efforts with the ITU’ s Global Partnership for Digital Gender Equality and consulted on Diversity and Inclusion, Public Relations, Communications and HR matters. Soledad has been recognized on Huffington Post’s 40 Under 40: Latinos in Foreign Policy and was selected as a U.S. Spain Council Young Leader, ARIN Fellow, Shusterman Foundation Fellow and South School of Internet Governance Fellow. She grew up in Santa Fe, New Mexico and attended New Mexico Military Institute, George Mason University and Euromed Marseille in France. Selected to participate in the Socrates 2018 Summer Seminars.
