Steve Navis is the On-the-Job Training Supportive Services (OJTSS) Workforce Development Program Manager at Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT). Steve has been in this role for over two years, and with ADOT for six years. All of Steve’s programs leverage federal FHWA funds and support the Highway Construction Industry Contractors. These programs help people receive training to start their career and help contractors’ employees to stay in highway construction by supporting apprentices and CDL Training. Before his role at ADOT, Steve taught student technicians at Universal Technical Institute (UTI) technical automotive classes for 7 years. Steve is also a World Class Certified Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Technician with an associate degree in Tool and Die Design (CAD). Steve has graduated from Motorcycle Mechanics Instate (MMI) specializing in Harley Davidson and BMW.
