Tyler Headley joins the Aspen Strategy Group after working at a communications firm in Seattle as Research Associate and Junior Speechwriter. While there, he ghostwrote a book on ethical leadership. Tyler graduated in 2018 from New York University Abu Dhabi summa cum laude with a B.A. in political science. In college, he published in Foreign Affairs, The National Interest, and The Diplomat, and won several international student awards for his essays. He participated in debates at Oxford, New York, and the World Economic Forum’s Global Futures Council, and he medaled in the 2017 United Arab Emirates National Rowing Championships. His senior thesis on the cost burden of dengue illness was co-authored with officials from Sri Lanka’s Ministry of Health and public health professors. Harkening from rainy Seattle, Tyler has lived a combined five years in other countries including the United Arab Emirates, Ghana, China, and India.
