Yasmeen Ashkar is a student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering at the Illinois Institute of Technology. She helps students who are struggling in school and tries her best to stay involved in the community by taking part in school activities. Yashmeen hopes to help people around the world with their medical needs. Yasmeen Ashkar is an Aspen Young Leaders Fellow in the 2020-2021 Chicago cohort.
