Zoë Brown is the senior program manager for Aspen Community Programs at the Aspen Institute.

Zoë Brown is the senior program manager for Aspen Community Programs (ACP) at the Aspen Institute. Based in Aspen, Colorado, she is responsible for overseeing and executing community programs, events, and seminars, including the Murdock Mind, Body, Spirit Series; McCloskey Speaker Series; Great Books Discussion Series; Teen Socrates Seminars; and the Our Society Reimagined series. In addition, Zoë oversees all ACP marketing and communications.

Drawing from a diverse background in public affairs, government, campaigns and elections, and the nonprofit sector, Zoë has worked in various forms of community relations throughout her professional career. As an intern, she worked on climate policy at the Center for American Progress (CAP) in Washington, DC. After graduating from the University of San Diego in 2008 with a degree in political science, she went on to work on various campaigns, with one eventually bringing her to Colorado, where she worked on Sen. Michael Bennet’s nationally targeted US Senate race, managing operations for paid canvasses and GOTV programs across Denver. Immediately prior to joining the Institute in 2014, Zoë worked in public relations, assisting clients with strategic planning, events, and media relations.

Born and raised on Lake Superior in Bayfield, Wisconsin, Zoë now calls Aspen home, and is an avid skier and biker.
