Dr. Cárdenas is Managing Partner at EFM Capital and InnovaCamp Ventures. Felix has more than 20 years of experience in private equity, venture capital, mergers and acquisitions, and global business development. He has operated in the United States, Europe, Japan, Africa and Latin America. He was previously partner at Vento Capital and GreenTEK Ventures, a global private equity fund based in Switzerland affiliated to the United Nations Environment Program – Basel Agency for Sustainable Energy. Previously at Norsk Hydro Statoil he showed strong skills to analyze commercial value propositions and execute long-term multi-million dollar contracts with large global companies. He also worked with diplomats and energy ministers to develop opportunities in the oil and energy sector. He began his career at Ford Motor Company as a quality, planning and logistics manager. He has been a researcher and professor affiliated to Harvard, Columbia, IESE, UT Austin, TEC de Monterrey, and EGADE Business School where he is the Director of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. He has post-doctorates from Harvard and Columbia University and studied his PhD at HEC UNIL and EPFL in Switzerland.
